My story.

I retired a few years ago and since then I have been working on improving my portrait pieces.  Well, working is not the right phrase to use as I love drawing and painting.

I currently work in coloured pencils and love this as a medium while it may be more time consuming than other forms of art, it is a clean, quickly moveable and less messy way to create.  

​

I work mainly on animal and human portraits and love to see the subject I am creating begin to look back at me from the page. Working on my art fills my soul and is so fulfilling.  I think we, as people, should all have at least one thing that brings us that joy and love, mine is the process of working on my art.
